Terry may miss start of campaign05.08.2007 14:01 Sports England captain John Terry may miss the first month of the new season after picking up a knee injury. Terry, 26, was left out of the Chelsea squad to play Manchester United in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday. Terry's injury could rule him out of England's friendly with Germany on 22 August and the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Israel and Russia in September. Midfielder Frank Lampard captained Chelsea in Terry's absence, despite suffering a broken toe in pre-season.
