Rory Sabbatini capitalised on a late bogey by Tiger Woods to claim a one-shot lead after three rounds of the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

Woods carded a one-under-par 69, with only a mistake at the 18th keeping his from a share of the lead with Sabbatini, who carded a 72 for 206.

Woods, the only player in the final 10 pairings to break par, saw his drive at the last finished behind some trees.

Kenny Perry shot 71 to lie in third place, three shots behind at 209.

Sabbatini - the overnight leader - started poorly with a double-bogey at the first but he held on nicely on the punishing layout, playing the remainder of the round in even par.
